With a whopping 98% increase in search activity, Abra emerged as the top brand of the week, and if the brand doesn’t ring a bell yet, it should definitely be on your radar now. The label is founded by Spanish designer Abraham Ortuño Perez — the man behind some of the most well-loved designs in the industry, from Coperni’s egg sandals to Loewe’s balloon heels to Jacquemus’ sculptural sandals. Bottoms remain its top category with 43.8% and its top colour is pink with 31.3%. Having launched his namesake brand in 2020, the creative’s recent interview with Dazed is not to be missed. Following behind is one of Abraham’s collaborators Jacquemus with a 66% boost in search activity and an increase of 4.8K followers on Instagram. The French cult label unveiled its Fall/Winter 2022 “Neve World” campaign last week featuring British rapper and songwriter Central Cee who’s dressed in the cosiest and fluffiest pieces, available in a range of captivating hues. When it comes to fuzziness, New York-based brand Lapointe is known for their mastery play of textures and shapes. And with a celebrity following including Jennifer Lopez, Selena Gomez and Priyanka Chopra, it’s no surprise that it landed on the fourth spot with a 54% increase in search activity. 13.6% of its materials are made up of cashmere. As we transition into winter, a slew of outerwear and cashmere brands are (unsurprisingly) making waves, including Canadian luxury brand Moose Knuckles (+54%) and American company Naadam (+46). The former is making huge waves for its partnership with Eckhaus Latta – the labels dropped its second capsule line, and the latter is on almost every gifting and shopping list that’s a testament to its popularity. Our list is never complete without some street-cool labels, and Stone Island (+39%) has been steadily on our watch for its multiple collaborations as of late, from its football kit in partnership with Chelsea and England forward Raheem Sterling, as well as its latest team-up with New Balance. The sportswear brand’s classic 574 silhouette is given a military-inspired update that’s complemented with eye-catching details that anyone can appreciate. Over 90% of its target audience is men. Last but not least, Carhartt WIP enjoyed a 29% boost in search activity and acquired over 2,000 followers on Instagram, thanks to its ongoing collaboration with Mastermind Japan which saw a collection of workwear and streetwear essentials that are decorated with the latter label’s signature skull motif.30/11/2022

New week, new brands to note. Well-loved fashion designer Raf Simons has made the list this week after he announced that he’ll be closing his eponymous brand after 27 years. "I lack words to share how proud I am of all that we have achieved," Simons says in his Instagram post. The latest Spring/Summer 2023 show will be its last. The news boosted the label’s search activity by 71%, and if you’d like to shop its designs, its Fall/Winter 2022 collection is available online now. As the weather’s getting colder, this round’s list comprises a series of winterwear labels that will get you warm and cosy for the season. Second on the list is Inuikii (+67%), a luxury footwear brand that’s designed in Switzerland and handcrafted in Europe. Its top categories go to boots (65%) and slide sandals (30%). It recently launched its Fall/Winter 2022 collection which features an array of stylish yet functional boots, but that’s not only it. Every single design is made with sustainability in mind. Case in point: the durable and waterproof Bananatex material that can be found in the collection. Moose Knuckles continue to make waves for the third week in a row, as the Canadian luxury brand enjoyed a 52% increase in search activity this round and also gained over 3K new followers on Instagram. Its top theme goes to coats and jackets. It teamed up with Telfar for the second time to launch a 24-piece capsule line that features outerwear and accessories that are made for winter. With more and more people heading to the mountains for ski trips, eyewear label Koo is also on the radar with a 51% boost in search activity. Its trendy snow goggles are a must-have. A ski outfit is never complete without cool, striking outerwear, and Cole Buxton (+52%) is another brand to note. Its Fall/Winter 2022 collection, in particular, features sleek outerwear that makes a bold statement. According to our data, 25% of its categories go to bottoms in the restock market. The last month of the year saw more partnerships lined up, such as the Opening Ceremony x Dickies collab. A combination of the former’s signature eye-catching details with the latter’s classic utilitarian aesthetic, the collection has pieces that you can buy now and wear forever. The release led to an increase of 53% in search activity for the brand. Lastly, British jewellery brand Missoma (+50%) has made the list for a number of reasons. Firstly, it recently opened its very first pop-up store at London’s Covent Garden, and secondly, its team-up with art school Central Saint Martins on an initiative dubbed “The Deadstock Project” that repurposes deadstock jewellery and waste metals into new designs.07/12/2022

This week, the top of the list goes to London-based label Harmur which gained 52% in search activity, after Carrie Johnson — ex-British prime minister Boris Johnson’s wife — was spotted donning a hot-pink maxi dress by the brand on her husband’s last day in office. Established in 2017, Harmur has quickly attracted a cult following, with fans including Amelia Liana, Poppy Delevingne, Jessie Ware and Lady Violet Manners. Next up, Italian brand Pucci also gained 51% in search activity after the release of its Fall/Winter 2022 collection titled “La Piazzetta”. Championing bright and bold psychedelic patterns and colours without straying too far from its aesthetic, the line-up is definitely made to make a statement, and you can count on it to brighten up the colder seasons. The recent Venice Film Festival has also catapulted a number of brands on the list, namely Alberta Ferretti (up by 48%) and Haider Ackermann (up by 32%). Supermodel Alessandro Ambrosio donned an embellished blue strapless gown by the former at the premiere of Mexican comedy ‘Bardo’; while Timothée Chalamet made waves in a backless design by the latter at the premiere of his latest film ‘Bones & All’. The supermodel treatment can also be seen via Claudia Schiffer, who posted her ‘Barbiecore’ look during her trip to Greece. The midi dress with adjustable straps, smocked bodice and flared skirt is the “Lorraine” dress from boho-chic label Xirena, which had a 19% increase in search activity this round. Elsewhere, Kim Kardashian’s Interview Magazine cover — which broke the internet — led to a 31% increase in search activity for the publication. Popular streetwear brand Kith is also one of the brands that enjoyed a significant increase in search activity (31%) for an apparent season: its decision to cast Jerry Seinfeld as the star of its upcoming Fall 2022 collection. In the first campaign images, the comedian can be seen donning a baseball cap, a branded varsity jacket and jeans from the brand, and we must say — he looks good.22/09/2022
